Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes practices of OMEGA 365, Ltd., a Russian Federation corporation (“GnomGuru”) regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information we collect from and about you when you use GnomGuru’s web-based and Android/iOs mobile applications (the “Service”). We take our obligations regarding your privacy seriously and have made every effort to draft this Privacy Policy in a manner that is clear and easy for you to understand. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, and our Acceptable Use Policy.

Information We Collect

GnomGuru must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services.

The types of information we receive and collect depend on how you use our Services. We require certain information to deliver our Services and without this we will not be able to provide our Services to you. For example, you must provide your email to create an account to use our Services.

Our Services have optional features which, if used by you, require us to collect additional information to provide such features. You will be notified of such collection, as appropriate. If you choose not to provide the information needed to use a feature, you will be unable to use the feature. For example, you cannot share your files with your contacts if you do not permit us to save and read data from your device. Permissions can be managed through your Settings menu on both Android and iOS devices.

Information You Provide

Your Account Information. You must provide your email or Google Primary Account or Social Account, mobile phone number and basic information (including a profile name of your choice) to create a GnomGuru account. This information necessary for your identification. If you don’t provide us with this information, you will not be able to create an account to use our Services. 

Your Social Accounts. Optionally, you can add other information to your account used for the "Online Booking" function, such as Social Accounts, living location and "about" information. All of this data is stored in encrypted form on our servers until your account is deleted.

Your Messages. Your messages are stored on your device. They also stored in encrypted form on our servers for 6 months if your account is active. Once your account is deleted, they are deleted from our servers too. 

Your Calendar appointments and events. All the events and all the associated data are stored in encrypted form on our servers until your account is deleted.

Your Google Calendar events. We do not store events from Google Calendar. We use Google Calendars access only to display them in the app or create a GnomGuru event based on Google Calendar event data. If you choose the "Target calendar to sync" in the app settings, we create a Google Calendar event as a copy of the created/modified GnomGuru event.

Your Available Working time daily schedule. If you use "Online booking" function this data stored on our servers until it is valid. We do not keep schedul of days in the past.

Your photo and other filesYou may intentionally attach photos and other files to an event or customer card. This data is stored on the device and is not synchronized with the GnomGuru server. The application only stores the names of these files.
When you connect Google Drive in app settings, attached files will be synced to the 'GnomGuru Images' folder of the selected Google Drive account. We do not read any other data from your Google Drive account.
In the case of business use of the account, GnomGuru must have full access to the Google Drive account. For the application to create a shared folder and employees/users can access it. 

Your Connections. The core functionality of the service is to maintain customer profiles. Which can contain any kind of optional information you need, including Names, Phone Numbers, Social Accounts, and other fields you create. We do not process or analyze this data. We store this data on the server to provide a backup function.
As we do not know in advance the potentially sensitive nature of the personal data you may provide to us, you must be aware that we may not be able to request your consent with such processing.
All of this data is stored in encrypted form on our servers until your account is deleted.  

Your Phone Contact List Information and Call Log. After requesting the necessary permissions, we use access to Contact List and Call Log data to provide the core functionality of the application.

  1. To create a new Client profile, you can select a contact from the Contact List. In this case, we access and display next data from Contact List in the application:  Phone number, Name, Contact ID, E-mail, Notes.

This data becomes part of the Client's profile, which is uploaded and stored encrypted on our servers until your account is deleted. We never use or share any contact data of your account.

2. During the selection of a Client from the Call Log, we access and display the following data in the application: Phone number, Name, Date and time of the call, Call Duration.
This data is displayed when you search for a Client for your convenience only and is not sent to our or any other server.

3. When viewing the Client's profile, we access and display in the application the following data from the Contact List: Address (Street, City, Country), Photo.

This data is displayed in the Client's profile for your convenience and is not sent to our or any other server.

4. Additionally, when using the "Copy contacts changes" function, data changes (Name, Phone) in the Contact List are copied to existing profiles of GnomGuru Application Clients.


Customer Support And Other Communications. When you contact us for customer support or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide us with information related to your use of our Services, including copies of your events, any other information you deem helpful, and how to contact you (e.g., an email address). For example, you may send us an email with information relating to app performance or other issues.

The Mobile Content you enter in the application is transferred to the Service's web server during the synchronization process for: 

✦ the possibility of backup recovery in case of problems/loss of the device
✦ "Online booking" function
✦ sync data between devices within your account

Automatically Collected Information


Usage And Log Information. We collect information about your activity on our Services, like service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (including how you use our Services, your Services settings, how you interact with others using our Services (including when you interact as a business), and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities and interactions), log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs and reports. This also includes information about when you registered to use our Services; the features you use like messaging, calendar events creatinga and keeping, other information you enter using GnomGuru application, "about" information.
Device And Connection Information. We collect device and connection-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, app version, mobile network, connection information (including phone number), language and time zone, device operations information, and identifiers.
Location Information. We collect and use precise location information from your device with your permission when you choose to use location-related features, like when you decide to enter or share your location with your contacts or view locations nearby or locations others have shared with you. There are certain settings relating to location-related information which you can find in your device settings or the in-app settings, such as location sharing. Even if you do not use our location-related features, we use IP addresses and other information like phone number area codes to estimate your general location (e.g., city and country). We also use your location information for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes. You can disable location based services in settings associated with the Service; however please be aware that some features of the Service may not function properly if location services are turned off.
Cookies. We use cookies to operate and provide our Services, including to provide our Services that are web-based, improve your experiences, understand how our Services are being used, and customize them. For example, we use cookies to provide our Services for web and desktop and other web-based services. We may also use cookies to understand which of our Help Center articles are most popular and to show you relevant content related to our Services. Additionally, we may use cookies to remember your choices, like your language preferences, to provide a safer experience, and otherwise to customize our Services for you. 

GnomGuru may view your Content only as necessary (i) to maintain, provide and improve the Service; (ii) to resolve a support request from you; (iii) if we have a good faith belief, or have received a complaint alleging, that such Content is in violation of our Acceptable Use Guidelines; (iv) as reasonably necessary to allow GnomGuru to comply with or avoid the violation of applicable law or regulation; or (v) to comply with a valid legal subpoena or request that meets the requirements of our Law Enforcement Guidelines. We may also analyze the Content in aggregate and on an anonymized basis, in order to better understand the manner in which our Service is being used.

Our Cookie Policy

GnomGuru uses technologies like cookies, pixel tags and web beacons to provide, monitor, analyze, promote and improve the Service. For example, a cookie is used to remember your user name when you return to the Service and to improve our understanding of how you interact with the Service. You can block cookies on your web browser; however please be aware that some features of the Service may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

You may disable or block cookies by adjusting your browser preferences at any time; however, please be aware that some features of the Service may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.We may utilize third-party service providers to provide us with analytics services and to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet. These parties may utilize cookies or similar technologies to gather information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites following your use of the Service. For example, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the Service and to enhance their experience when they use the Service. To opt-out of having your data used by Google Analytics please go to: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

We do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals that provide a method to opt out of the collection of information about online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services as there is no consistent industry standard for compliance.

How We Share Your Information

We may share the information we collect from you with third parties as detailed below.

As Directed By You
We will display your Profile information on your profile page and elsewhere on the Service in accordance with the preferences you set in your account. You can review and revise your Profile information at any time.

We will display your Content within the Service as directed by you.
If you elect to use a third party application to access the Service, then we may share or disclose your account and Profile information and your Content with that third party application as directed by you. Please remember that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties so you should make sure you trust the application and that it has a privacy policy acceptable to you.

With Law Enforcement or In Order to Protect Our Rights
We may disclose your information (including your personally identifiable information) in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. All such requests shall be required to meet our Law Enforcement Guidelines. We may also disclose your information to our legal counsel, governmental authorities or law enforcement if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to do so in order to comply with a law or regulation; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect GnomGuru’s rights or property.

In an Aggregate and Non-Personally Identifiable Manner.
We may disclose aggregate non-personally identifiable information (such as aggregate and anonymous usage data, platform types, etc.) about the overall use of our Service publicly or with interested third parties to help them understand, or to help us improve, the Service.

In Connection With a Sale or Change of Control
If the ownership of all or substantially all of our business changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner so that the Service can continue to operate. In such case, your information would remain subject to the promises and commitments contained in this Privacy Policy until such time as this Privacy Policy is updated or amended by the acquiring party upon notice to you.

How We Protect Your Information

The security of your information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) as part of our service, we encrypt the transmission of that information using industry-standard encryption.

GnomGuru uses commercially reasonable and industry-standard physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information. For example, we continuously and regularly back up your data to help prevent data loss and aid in data recovery. We also guard against common web attack vectors, host data in secure SAS 70 audited data centers, and implement firewalls and access restrictions on our servers to secure our network and better protect your information.

Risks Inherent in Sharing Information

Although we allow you control over where you share your Content and what information is included in your Profile and take reasonable steps to maintain the security if the information associated with your account, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you share your Content and we are not responsible for third party circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on the Service.

Your Choices About Your Information

You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Service, in which case GnomGuru may not be able to provide certain services to you. You have a right to access information we hold about you. You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging in to your account. For questions or inquiries regarding the correction or deletion of your personally identifiable information on the Service you may contact us at support@gnom.guru.

GnomGuru Blogs

Information you provide in comments to our blogs are public and may be read, collected, and used by others who view those blogs. Your posts will remain even after you cancel your Service account.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to persons under 13. GnomGuru does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for an account on the Service. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at support@gnom.guru.

International Data Transfer

We may transfer information that we collect about you, including personally identifiable information, to affiliated entities, or to other third parties (as provided herein) across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that you are transferring information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. and the use and disclosure of information about you, including personal information, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Links to Other Web Sites

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to from within the Service, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect and your activities on that third party website is subject to such third party website’s own rules and policies.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
